Cedar Springs Community Club was formed in 1932 for the purpose of entering in the Flatt Agreement (General Building Scheme). The Club is a corporation without share capital under Part III of the Ontario Corporations Act. The General Building Scheme is administered by the Club much like a condominium with similar Letters Patent and By-laws. In addition, the Club has passed Rules and Regulations which set out the day-to-day rules members abide by. The Restrictive Covenants on title of each cottage lot are a summary of the building and land use restrictions affecting a member's property that are contained in the Burlington Official Plan, the General Building Scheme, the Club By-laws, the Rules and Regulations and the former Undertakings given as a condition of membership.,
