Social Activities

Cedar Springs is not just a cottage - it is also a social community and a club. Social activities centre around the Clubhouse and the beach. During July and August, most Saturday nights attract members to a dinner, a dance, a corn roast, a beach party, a golf-cart drive-in movie and more. Every August there is a dress-up Formal and the Clubhouse is decorated to the fullest. The Clubhouse also hosts a sold-out Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the trimmings on the October long weekend. These activities are family-friendly, attracting kids of all ages.

Other activities include a weekly book club and an 'ideas' group. From time to time, cottages host a Ladies Coffee group on Tuesday mornings. There are annual luncheons for Ladies Golf and for Senior Men's Golf. On the last Sunday of the summer season, an annual church service is held at the Clubhouse.

A group of hikers explore our Heritage hiking trails through the Community woodlands with connections to the Bruce Trail. Click for a PDF map of our Heritage hiking trails.

There are so many activities for kids, see the separate Kids page for them.
